Dan Olsavsky started Big Nerd Design with a simple belief: great products can be built fast when you combine AI-first workflows with human-centered design.
With over 20 years of experience in UX/UI design and product development, Dan has partnered with organizations of all sizes, from Fortune companies to early-stage startups. Across every engagement, the goal has remained the same: deliver quality quickly while keeping real users at the center.
Big Nerd Design brings together Dan’s experience, network, and passion for problem-solving to help teams get clarity, reduce risk, and launch products that truly resonate with the people they’re built for.
About You
We’re looking for a growth-minded coach and facilitator who enjoys helping others learn and build with new technologies. You’re comfortable leading live sessions and creating engaging, hands-on learning environments.
You’ll help host webinars, hackathons, and workshops on the Big Nerd Academy platform, including facilitating sessions, offering project feedback, and supporting participants as they develop new skills. Prior experience as a facilitator, educator, mentor, or coach is required. We currently host monthly events and are expanding to additional workshops as the platform grows.
